I must really be loving this new Spring weather that’s settled upon us, because I am certainly privy to all the sights and sounds accompanied by the season these days! Of course the best part of spring is spending it outside! For me, I can’t really ask for a better day than those that are spent with loved ones, enjoying the sun, breeze, blooms, and sense of renewal that Spring brings with it. Especially after one of the harshest Winters we have ever seen!
One thing that I have always loved that is such a huge part of Spring is the blooming buds on the once sleepy trees. On top of that, you can ask just about anyone who is even just an acquaintance of mine, I absolutely love any sort of item made from various types of wood. I have a plethora of wooden bowls, wooden jewelry, and wooden picture frames. My displays I create for craft shows are developed around these various bowls and picture frames I have that I am in love with. Of course, springtime makes me want to see what other wooden treasures I can find. I am almost positive I hit the jackpot with these decadent faux bois finds I stumbled upon while doing my search!

And these are just a handful of the gorgeous items I stumbled upon! So now that you know one of my springtime obsessions, what are yours? Is there something that just signals springtime to you? Please share with us so we can all soak in the sights, sounds, and loveliness of Spring!
xoxo,

One of my most favorite things about the seasons changing from Winter to Spring is seeing the luscious green grass beginning to grow high enough to need a lawn mower, and the foliage filling out with gorgeous shades of yellow, green, and pretty springtime blooms. As I drove through the quiet roads lined with gorgeous fields of grass the other day, I certainly felt my mood being lifted instantly. Isn’t it wonderful how great of an effect Spring has on our moods? The sun is shining, the grass is growing, flowers are blooming, and everything is anew.
I also realized how much Spring makes me want to shop! Combining my love for Spring and shopping, I have developed a Wish List of lovely foliage finds that I would certainly love growing in my home any day!

I know that Spring is a very busy season for many of us. Particularly handmade artists who are preparing for craft shows, outdoor markets, and the like. I do hope that each of you are able to enjoy the greenery and fresh air that accompanies this beautiful season of renewal!
xoxo,

While browsing the front page a few days ago, I was intrigued by some teeny tiny paper cranes (shown below). I, of course, clicked on the photo, and then became curious on what other paper cranes were out there available on Etsy. Through my search, I found a number of extremely cute paper crane items. I also learned that paper cranes are a symbol of peace – which I had never known! You learn something new every day, huh? As I began browsing all the amazing paper crane items, I realized…we can all use a little peace in our life from time to time, right? In the midst of our busy days, weeks, months, and lives, a little peace is just the ticket to bring us calmness and sense of relaxation. And this chain of events that brought about peace within me through a simple search came at just the right moment as I’ve been knee-deep in preparations for DawnCorrespondence‘s debut at this year’s National Stationery Show!
Have you had any events or thoughts that have led you to inner peace lately? I’d love for you to share with us in hopes that we can all find a little peace within ourselves – even if it’s only for a few moments in our crazy busy lives!

Yesterday I had every intention of writing about the importance of sleep for remaining focused, balanced, and on task. Turns out I was too busy multi-tasking focusing to get around to it! And after little to no sleep the past few nights, I thought now would be a great time to reinforce to each of you (and me!) the importance of sleep.
One of the best things about sleep is making our bedroom our own space. It’s a place where you can have fun with the design, while still being really cozy. Lately, I’ve really been into the gray • yellow • khaki combo, so I had a wonderful time building this fun, fun inspiration board of what I’d like to update my bedroom with! It’s bright and cheerful enough for rising and shining in the morning, but cozy enough for falling asleep comfortably at night!

On that note, I am going to take my own advice and get some rest before I see the wee hours of tomorrow approaching! Remember to get some rest so you can stay focused, productive, and on top of your game!
Have a great night!
xoxo,
